Yey! No root canal!

Turns out I didn't need a root canal after all (at least not yet). It was just a leaky filling and the endodontist is taking a wait and see attitude, so we'll see in a month. My mouth is still sore, though, since he had to poke me with a bunch of needles anyways. I lost the whole day on Lorazepam, which would have been fun except that there were other things I wanted to be doing. Same thing today - I finished painting Marie's front room and had planned to do some sewing for the emergency 'Qs, but Jake and Marie decided to go to the dump and left me with the kids. I had hoped to get the curtains done by tomorrow (I'm such a show-off), but I guess it'll be good enough to get them done by next week.
